FEMINIST SCHOLAR & WRITER
I am an academic and three-time awardee of the Africa initiatives of the Social Science Research Council. Currently nearing completion of a PhD in international affairs at the University of Ghana, my dedication to women’s rights and a more gender-equal world are at the heart of everything I do. My public scholarship is mostly about gender and Africa from the standpoint of disrupting ‘known knowns’ about this great continent.
I edit and proofread short stories, books, academic theses, policy papers, web content, and journal articles

In early 2017, I conceived and created Doing A PhD in Africa, a digital resource targeted at African doctoral scholars on the continent. The platform’s aim, and my dream, is to raise the profile and quality of doctoral scholarship across the continent. This is being achieved using knowledge and experience sharing, networking, collaboration and capacity investment.
